Me and myselfMe and myselfWith your divers you probably talked a lot about fish, but not so much about yourself. You gave them an unforgetable experience. Back home they might want to know a bit more about YOU!!

On your own website you can tell them when you started diving, what you did before you became an instructor, a tiny bit about your private life, previous diving experiences, your specialities, plans for the future and other non-dive related interests. This gives them a way to hook into something if they email you. Don't make it too long. Create an article if there are other things you want to write about. Then only a "teaser" will show on your home page with a link to the full text.

Add links to the website of the diving center and resort where you work (see tutorial / it: vedi manuale). This might attract them to visit you even when you changed location. This way you get less questions about prices or where to book.

You can put all the content on your Home Page in any order you want.

Last but not least, put a picture of yourself, like the example on the left. (see tutorial / it: vedi manuale).

Check out an instructor's live site.

Example of a Gallery

You can create as much galleries as you want. All the pictures in the gallery will open in a viewer easy to navigate and without leaving the page. It is quick in downloading the images because it uses a reduced size of the original. A button is available to open the original size. You can make albums of you with your divers, best shots, dive site maps, just to mention a few. We recommend the use of a photo resizer before you upload your pictures. See tutorial.

Click the images below for bigger versions. In some browsers do NOT double click.

Example of a Video player

You create several video players with different content. Each player can contain more video's shown in a playlist. You should convert your video's first to the extension .flv online or with offline conversion software. See tutorial.
